CHICKEN CURRY WITH BASMATI RICE


The chicken curry recipe is a strong tasting easy to prepare even if you are not an ace in the kitchen. This has an Indian origin; the curry is a mix of spices used in Italy for the preparation of different types of dishes. If you did not know, this has important benefits on our health as a metabolic regulator, antioxidant and disinfectant properties to the gut.
Now let us see how to make it in a few easy steps.

Ingredients for 4 people:

- 300 Grams of basmati rice
- 600 Grams of chicken breast
- 1 onion
- a glass of milk
- 2 Tablespoons flour
- 4 Tablespoons of curry powder
- 1 Tablespoon of saffron
- 2 Tablespoons of extra virgin olive oil
- - Nutmeg to taste
- salt to taste

Preparation:

Cook basmati rice in plenty of boiling salted water; for cooking, follow the directions that you find in the package.
While you wait for the rice is cooked, chop the onion and sauté in a pan with the olive oil; once the onion is golden cut chicken into cubes of about 2 cm and mix. Add a pinch of salt and cook for about 15 minutes over medium heat, stirring often.
In a bowl, add the curry powder, flour, saffron and melt them with milk. Add salt and a pinch of nutmeg. When the chicken is well cooked, add it to the curry sauce and simmer another 5 minutes on very low heat.
Now is the time to serve on a bed of basmati rice dishes topped with succulent chicken curry. Bon Appetite!
