FISH AND CHIPS


When it comes to fish and chips immediately comes to mind British cuisine; you cannot leave London without having tasted this delicious dish at least once in one of the many London pubs. Quick and easy to prepare, the fish and chips is made ​​from cod fillet wrapped in a soft batter, fried and served with fries.
Let's see how it is prepared in a few easy steps.

Ingredients for 4 people:

- 500 g of fillet of cod
- 500g of yellow potatoes
- 150gr flour 00
- 1 glass of sparkling water
- 1 egg yolk
- 1 teaspoon of brewer's yeast powder
- Seed oil
- 1 tablespoon white wine vinegar

Preparation:

Peel the potatoes and cut them into sticks not very thin. For the batter: In a bowl mix together the flour, a pinch of salt, and baking powder dissolved in vinegar. Add the sparkling water and egg yolk and mix well. Wash and cut the cod into pieces, being careful to dry it well. Start by frying the chips in abundant seed oil and drain. Soak the cod in batter flex (compound prepared earlier) and soon after in hot oil. Let it cook until they are golden and crispy. Dry the fillets excess oil with paper towels.
Serve by wrapping the whole thing in the classic paper by Fried as the classic "take away" of the road.
